Weston C. Spencer, 80, of Lisle and formerly of Naperville, IL died January 13, 2001, beloved son of the late Clarence and Ruby, nee Scheurer, Spencer; loving husband of the late Marian “Mickey” and late Betty; fond father of Kim (Evelyn Messinger) Spencer, Mike (Kristi Vaughn) Spencer, Rick (Patricia) Spencer and the late Mindy White; dear brother of Erwin, Florence Funkhouser and the late Jean Bryan; father-in-law of Douglas White; cherished grandfather of nine. Football coach in Naperville for twentysix years. Inducted into Illinois High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 1985. Memorial service Saturday at 11 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church, 20 N. Center St., Naperville. Interment private.
