Dr. Richard T. Arnold, died on Jan. 16, 2001, in Evanston at age 87, a distinguished organic chemist who contributed much to science, he will be remembered for his thoughtful intelligence, kindness, willingness to help students and friends and his generosity of spirit. He was the husband of the late Doris Arnold and is survived by his daughter Mary lyn (Charles) Wonderlic and son Robert (Linda) Arnold and their families. Funeral services will be private.
