Bruce L. Smyth, 85, of Crystal Lake died Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Mr. Smyth had been a senior vice president for the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago and had served on the board of the Pioneer Center, a social agency for the developmentally disabled in McHenry County. Survivors include his wife, Reola; sons David and John; a brother, Donald; and a granddaughter. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday in Querhammer and Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
