Delphi Automotive Systems Corp. of Troy, Mich., will seek “aggressive” cost-cutting measures this year in response to slowing vehicle sales, J.T. Battenberg III, the company’s chief executive, said Wednesday. He also said the company was shifting its product portfolio to more high-tech electronic and electronically-enhanced offerings, such as its Mobile MultiMedia business unit. Delphi, the world’s biggest auto parts manufacturer, has seen its results hurt by the strong Mexican peso; with 76,000 workers, Delphi is the largest private employer in Mexico.
