Marion L. Mares, 71, a longtime resident of Warrenville, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Mares retired in 1991 after spending 31 years at Warrenville State Bank, now Oak Brook Bank. Mrs. Mares was a branch manager for the bank. She was a greeter at St. Irene’s Church and a crafter with the Warrenville Historical Society. Survivors include her husband, John; three daughters, Melody Merrick, Deborah Davis and Pam Nelson; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Charles Meloun; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday in St. Irene’s Catholic Church, 28W531 Warrenville Rd., Warrenville, where mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday.
