David Fogel, attorney, age 79, of Northampton, MA, beloved husband of Rita A., nee August; loving father of three sons, all attorneys: Bruce M. Fogel of Northampton, MA, Robert L. Fogel of Chicago, IL, and Barry P. Fogel of West Newbury, MA; dear grandfather of six; fond brother of Marlene Brick of Hewlett, NY. He was a WWII and Korean War Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Captain and receiving the Bronze Star of Meritorious Service during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the Congregation B’Nai Israel Synagogue, Northampton, MA, with burial in the Congregation B’Nai Israel Cemetery. Memorial service (Shiva) will be held at the Fogel home at 33 Dogwood Lane in Northampton, Monday through Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Congregation B’Nai Israel, 253 Prospect St., Northampton, MA 01060; the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, 1250 Hylan Blvd., Suite 4B, Staten Island, NY 10306; or to the Linda Manor Activities Fund, 349 Haydenville Rd., Leeds, MA 01053.
