Ellen Pauline Schab, age 90, passed away on January 18, 2001 at her home, long-time resident of Park Ridge, formerly of Glenview, beloved sister of Robert (Betsy) and the late Harry (Kay); dear aunt of Lisa (Bernd) Harrer, Lorin (Renate) and Robin (Diana); loving cousin of Marian Hoglind; devoted daughter of the late Anna, nee Heinz and Joseph. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 4 to 9 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. service at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd., at Cumberland, Park Ridge 847-823-5122. Burial service on Thursday, January 25, 10 a.m. at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rainbow Hospice, Park Ridge or the Ellen Schab Memorial Scholarship Fund, Harrington Institute of Interior Design, Chicago.
