Mayer Wolff Bailin, 74, died at home in Skokie after a long illness. An Army veteran of WW II, and a retired teacher in the Chicago Public Schools, he was the husband of Naomie, nee Mallin, the father of Deborah and Paul; the brother of Etta (John) Brewer of Glastonbury, Connecticut; and the brother-in-law of Dr. Sanford (Ann) Mallin of Marlboro, New Jersey. Mayer was born in St. Louis to Morris and Dorothy Bailin. He spent most of his adult life in Chicago. Interment will be private. Memorial service at a later date. Info.
