Anna O. Gonko, 96, of McHenry died Sunday, Jan. 21, in Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. She was born in Poland, moved to the United States in 1913 and lived in Pittsburg, Kan., and Chicago before moving to McHenry in 1968. She had worked as an assembler for a manufacturing company. Survivors include a sister, Julie Hooper. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until a mass is said at 11 a.m. in Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 W. Bull Valley Rd., McHenry.
