George M. Kidd, 82, of Villa Park, a retired manager with United Airlines, died Sunday, Jan. 21, in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Mr. Kidd was an Eagle Scout, a private pilot and signed on with United Airlines in 1940. He spent 40 years with the giant air carrier and retired as a regional manager. Mr. Kidd also served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. Mr. Kidd is survived by his wife, Margaret, and two sisters-in-law, Bernice Adams and Nancy Leslie. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mark Episcopal Church, 393 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn.
