Harold R. Taliaferro, age 84, of Tequesta, FL, formerly of Munster, IN, passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, loving husband of Selena Taliaferro, of Tequesta, FL; loving father of Richard Taliaferro, of Columbus, OH, Jean Hoffner, of Danville, CA and Betsy Getreu, of Peachtree City, GA; six grandchildren. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, Jan. 25, 11 a.m. at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN, with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville. Prior to his retirement Harold was the director of fuels research with Amoco Oil in Naperville, IL.
