Imitation is the sincerest form of publishing. Since Oprah Winfrey demonstrated that a magazine named for an individual can thrive, others are following suit. McCall’s, the venerable women’s magazine, recently announced it will change its name in the spring to Rosie’s, capitalizing on the fame of TV star Rosie O’Donnell.
