Fred S. DellaRose, 75, of Mackinaw City, MI and winter resident of Phoenix, AZ, passed away January 23, 2001 in Scottsdale, AZ. He was a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and retired from United States Steel Corporation after 33 years of service. He served in the United States Army during WW II, where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Oak Leaf Cluster, and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Columbine; daughters, Nancy Joy Paolilli, Judy Ann DellaRose-Crandell and Jean Marie Johnson; son, Steven John DellaRose; son-in-law, Randall Rexford Johnson; brother, Frank DellaRose; five grandchildren. Private services will be held. Contributions may be made to Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O. Box 750, New York, NY 10131. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
