Nice spin move by Ravens coach Brian Billick. While defending his “thug life” middle linebacker Ray Lewis, Billick stated that he’s “a little disturbed with some of the focus that’s being brought [to the Lewis case.]” He then reminds that “all charges were dropped against Ray Lewis.”
I’m disturbed by the apparent lack of focus by Billick. If Billick were focused, he’d remember that Lewis in fact pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and received a sentence of time served plus a year’s probation.
Ray Lewis isn’t the victim here, as Rick Morrissey pointed out.
