Lederleitner, nee Meyer; dear father of Terry (Maurice) Smith, Thomas, Rob, Mary Ellen, William, Margaret (Betoel) Escobar, John, and the late Kathleen Lederleitner; loving grandfather of Colleen Elaine Lederleitner and David, Melinda, Daniel, and Benjamin Escobar; fond brother of Vern (the late John) Back. Visitation Monday, 4 to 9 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Hwy.), Mt. Prospect. Funeral Tuesday, 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Thomas Becket Church, Mass 11 a.m. Interment All Saints. Mr. Lederleitner was a graduate of Austin High School, Northwester University in 1947 and Northwestern Law School in 1950. He was an instructor at John Marshall Law School from 1968 to 1975. He was a member of the Supreme Court Commission that drafted the Pattern of Civil Jury Instructions from 1957 to 1965. Mr. Lederleitner was on the Board of Directors of Pretzel & Stouffer in Chicago, retiring in 1992. 847-255-7800 .
