Robert W. Zeiger Sr., 69 of Wilmington, IL, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2001, in his residence, father of Robert W. Jr. (Karen) of Westmont, James Zeiger of Fredrecksburg, VA, and Virginia (Keith) Robison, Edward (Colleen) Zeiger and Gail Zeiger all of Joliet; brother of Maryann (Thomas) Donovan of Oak Lawn; and grandfather of Jason, James, Jack and Jennifer Zeiger; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his dear companion Virginia Metcalf of Elwood; preceded in death by his parents, his wife Leona in 1975, one son Michael and seven brothers and sisters. Visitation Tuesday, January 30, from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, January 31st at 9:45 a.m. from the Reeves Funeral Home, 219 N. Joliet Street, Wilmington, IL to St. Rose Catholic Church.
