Phyllis Mary Logan Riley, 81, of Mt. Prospect, IL, died Sunday, January 28, 2001 at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL. A former resident of Toledo and Wayne, OH, Phyllis was a graduate of Bowling Green State University and was a school teacher in Port Clinton, OH. She was also a member of Boulevard Church of Christ while in Toledo. The widow of Charles A. Riley, Phyllis was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Louise King; she is survived by her son, Charles “Rex” Riley of Westfield, NJ; daughter, Susan Rogers of Mt. Pleasant, IL; and grandsons, Jason (Lynn) Rogers of Sterling Heights, MI, Paul Riley of New York City, and Ross Riley of Philadelphia, PA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until funeral services are held at 2 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave., with the Rev. Dean M. Trask officiating. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
