Funeral Friday, 9 a.m. from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 West 95th Street, to Our Lady of the Woods Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Willow Hills Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 5 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. An active member of his community, Mr. Jillson was a current board member of the Rotary Club of Oak Lawn; Metro Southwest Alliance; Palos School District 118 Foundation; a member of Nucleus Fund of St. Xavier University; and the Bedford Park/Clearing Industrial Association. He was an active participant in the YMCA Indian Guide Program and the coach of various youth sports teams. Past Chairman of Chicago Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; Fundraising Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America, “Timber Trails”, as well as the Capital Campaign Committee of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia. Served on the Oak Lawn Chapter of the American Cancer Society and was a charter member of Oak Lawn Chapter of the JAYCEES.
