Paul A. Lockwood, age 83, WW II Veteran, beloved husband of the late Helen Lockwood, nee Teed; loving father of Margo (Cole) McCombs and Bryan (Debbie) Lockwood; grandfather of Chris, Mark, Jessica and Jared; great-grandfather of Lily; brother of Kathy (Lloyd) Silver. Mr. Lockwood had been a Certified Life Underwriter, as well as a Presbyterian Elder and lay pastor in Indiana. After moving to Carol Stream in 1996, he served as a lay reader, Stephen’s minister and nursing home volunteer with the Episcopal Church as well as volunteer chaplain at Central DuPage Hospital. The Memorial Service will be Saturday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 N. West St., Wheaton, IL 60187, 630-665-1101. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to Trinity Episcopal Church.
