John Howard Shatzer, of Fresno, CA, died Dec. 10, 2000, at the age of 91. Born and raised in the Chicago area, he was a River Forest resident from the early 1940’s until 1966. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen R. Shatzer; survived by his daughter, Janet A. DiMuro of Fresno, CA; and his son, John H. Shatzer Jr. of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
