Roy P. Brunn, 56, of Union died Tuesday, Jan. 30, after his car collided with a semitrailer truck on U.S. Highway 20 in an unincorporated area near Marengo. Mr. Brunn was an electronics technician who had worked at Meco Metals in Elk Grove Village for 29 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Christine; a daughter, Amy; a son, Andrew; his mother, Marjorie; a brother, Roger; and three sisters, Sally Brunn, Vicki Berke and Susan Kern. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and a service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday in Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo.
