Lucille A. Lukas, 71, a former employee of Jewel-Osco in Melrose Park, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, in her Plainfield home. “She loved the great outdoors, and everybody remembers her elegance,” said her daughter Liz Farley. “She loved to travel, especially to Europe and Asia,” her daughter said. “She also loved her family and her pug, Shawnee.” Mrs. Lukas also collected crystal figurines. Other survivors include two other daughters, Linda Ruchala and Judi; two sons, Joe and Jim; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Theresa Reilly, Sally Reyzer, Louise Vorpahl and Regina Syrczuk; and a brother, Julian Grabski. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, Short Street and Illinois Highway 53, Lisle. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Front Street and Kingston Avenue, Lisle.
