Mr. Johnson died Saturday, February 3, 2001, loving husband of Barbara, nee Kuna; dearest father of Larry (Sheryl), Glenn (Lisa), Paul, and Stephanie Gierke-Johnson; loved grandfather of Christine, Hannah, Tyler, Zachary and Garret; loving son of Vivian (the late Paul) Johnson; fond brother of Donald and William (the late Jo Ellen Bolden) Johnson. Funeral 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, from Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blks S. of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell Ave., Arlington Heights, for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Monday. Interment private. Mr. Johnson was president of The Levy Company, where he was employed for 41 years. He was a member and former past president and board member of G.D.C.N.I. and former member and director of the Builder’s Association of Greater Chicago.
