Elwood P. “Woody” Johnson, 85, formerly of Western Springs, beloved husband of the late Alberta “Bert” Johnson; loving father of Karen (Ellis) Frischman and Sandi (Greg) Buenzli; dear grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of seven. He was a long time employee of Commonwealth Edison and a member of Masonic Lodge #1136. Visitation 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Merker & James Funeral Home, 518 Hillgrove, Western Springs, where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday. Interment private.
