Lowell R. Johnson, a memorial service for Lowell R. Johnson will be held at St. Edna’s Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. Born February 22, 1936 in Westmont, IL, he died February 4, after a long courageous fight with kidney cancer. He was the beloved husband of Mary “Cris”; loving father of Scott (Julie), Greg (Kathy), Rob and Rick (Lauren); devoted grandfather of Christa and Ashley; fond brother of Stanley (Charlene), Doug (Debbie) and the late Dick (Lorraine); loving uncle to many nieces, nephews; cousins; a devoted friend to many; brother-in-law to Al (Francis). He left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, Nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
