Vilma Kohnke, 76, of Elk Grove Village, beloved wife of the late Rudi R.; loving mother of Rudi (Catherine), Gary (Karen) and Eric Kohnke; fond grandmother of Melissa, Jennifer, Sean, Matthew and the late Kelly; dear sister of Edward (Eva) Hahn, Walter Hahn, Anna Federlin and the late Robert Hahn. Vilma devoted her life to her family, had many friends and could always be relied upon to help those in need. Her caring nature was felt by many during her volunteer service to Alexian Bros. Medical Center and P.A.D.S. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren and loved sharing in every aspect of their lives. She will be in our hearts forever. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Hts. Rd., Elk Grove Village. Lying in state Wednesday, 9 a.m until time of service 10 a.m. at The Lutheran Church of The Holy Spirit (Elk Grove). Interment Memory Gardens. Donations to Alexian Bros. Hospice House, appreciated.
