I wondered how long it would take a lawyer to persuade relatives of the recent Salvation Army van accident to sue. Alas, the interim was minimal. I consider it shameful that concerned parties have little or no compunction about punishing a charitable organization that was performing a community service.

Those of us who voluntarily work for and donate to this well-respected organization rue the fact that opportunists, both legal and otherwise, seek monetary gain and dismiss the vagaries of life and God’s will.
