Elsie Souhrada, nee Vische, age 78, of Lansing, IL, formerly of Roseland, beloved wife of Edward; loving mother of Lynn (Walter) Johnson, Karen (Gordon) Zemke and Myra (William) Graves; devoted grandmother of seven; and great-grandmother of six; dearest sister of the late Emil Vische and the late Mary (late Peter) Cedola; fond sister-in-law of Florence; many nieces and nephews. Retired from the Chicago Tribune after 11 years. Member of the Women’s Piemontese Society. Funeral service Thursday, Feb. 8, 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2505 Indiana Ave., Lansing, IL. Visitation Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2 to 9 p.m. at Rosemoor Funeral Home, 17943 S. Torrence Ave., Lansing, IL and Wednesday morning 10 a.m. until time of service at church. Interment Oak Glen Cemetery.
