President Bush’s education plan is about everything our schools don’t need–more tests. Teachers can no longer teach freely without the worry of tests. They become so caught up with standardized tests that they are forced to take the fun out of learning. The teachers have so much pressure put on them by the administrators for higher test scores.
There is a maximum point where test scores can no longer go any higher, and school administrators and the government don’t see that. And why should some schools be punished just for the fact that they do not have students who learn very well?
