Ann Walker Schroeder, age 84, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001. She was former secretary to the Chancellor at the University of Chicago. Most recently an avid traveler and always a book enthusiast. She is survived by her husband Edward J. Schroeder of Boynton Beach, FL; stepson Alan (Kathleen) Schroeder of Arizona; sisters Ellen Barker of Texas and Frances Mueller, of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Heather and Holly Schroeder; many great-grandchildren; nieces, Mary Greenberg, Tina Mueller, Linda Kelley, Dale Barker and other nieces and nephews.
