George B. Watt Jr., 69, of Greensboro, GA, died Feb. 8, 2001, a six year resident of Greensboro. Mr. Watt was the son of the late George B. Watt Sr. and Marion Eden Watt. After more than 30 years, he retired as a stockbroker from Solomon Smith Barney. He was a member of Reynolds National Club and a past member of the Ivanhoe Club in Illinois. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. He was born in Middlesex County, NJ and graduated from Oak Park High School, IL and Lake Forest College, Illinois-1953. He is survived by his wife Sandra Watt, Greensboro, GA; a daughter Jaime (Mike) Reckling, Grayslake, IL; two sons, George B. (Terry) Watt, III, Lindenhurst, IL and Brad Watt, of Vernon Hills, IL; a stepdaughter, Kris (Nick) Dorko, Marlborough, CT and stepson Dale Gustafson, Richmond, VA; six grandchildren, Kathryn Watt, Jenna Watt, Georgie Watt IV, Michael Reckling, Kyle Reckling and Haley Reckling. Memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, 3 p.m. at the Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church of Eatonton, GA, Rev. Joe King, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. before the memorial service.
