Walter A. Wolodko, 88, of Eau Claire, WI, formerly of Chicago, Feb. 2, 2001, beloved husband for 56 years of the late Helene (1993); father of Conrad (Sandra) and Melania (David) Madis; loving grandfather of Sheri (Dan) Long of Nevada, Debbie (Rob) Carver of Virginia, Christina (Charles) Harder of California, Kara Madis Fleesberg, and David (Kelly) Madis II, both of Eau Claire, WI; nine great-grandsons and a greatgranddaughter. Memorials may be directed to the Lutheran Syverson Foundation, L.E. Phillips Senior Center or Girl Scouts of Indian Waters Council in Eau Claire, WI. A private memorial for the family is being arranged at the Smith Funeral Chapel, 2222 London Rd., Eau Claire, WI 54701.
