Anne Sanford Welther, 57, of Naples, FL, died Feb. 9 after a lingering illness, born in St. Joseph, MI on May 24, 1943, educated in Greenwich, CT, Syracuse, NY and Wellesley, MA, earning a Bachelor’s Degree at Lake Forest College in 1965. She remained active in the college’s Alumni Association thereafter. A former resident of Wheeling, IL, Ms. Welther pursued careers of innovative Insurance Claims Management in Chicago and Milwaukee, WI and finally Property Management at Moon Lake in Naples. Her mother, Louise R. Sanford of Sarasota, FL; and her brother, Charles of Chicago survive Ms. Welther. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lake Forest College appreciated.
