Does anyone really believe the firearm owner’s identification (FOID) cards are the problem with people acquiring weapons? If the card is revoked and someone still has a gun and uses it, all you’re going to hear is that police are investigating as to why the gunman had a firearm in the first place since the FOID card was taken away. The answer is stricter gun-control laws that are actually enforced.
