Thomas J. Oshinski, 69, a retired employee of Argonne National Laboratory and a lifelong resident of Downers Grove, died Sunday, Feb. 11, in Fairview Baptist Home in Downers Grove. Born in Chicago, Mr. Oshinski, a graduate of Downers Grove High School, worked in the maintenance department of the laboratory. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and was a member of VFW Post 503 in Downers Grove. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove.
