Barbara Boyle, 69, a 42-year resident of Elk Grove Village retired in 1999 as an office worker in the freight forwarding department of United Airlines, Elk Grove Village. She worked 19 years for the airline. After retirement Mrs. Boyle was a part-time greeter for the restaurant in the Marshall Field’s store at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. Mrs. Boyle, a Chicago native, died Sunday, Feb. 11, in her home. “The most meaningful things to her were her relationships with her family, friends and church,” said her son John. “She was a loving companion, a cherished friend and a wonderful mother.” Other survivors include two more sons, Robert and James; a daughter, Theresa Setchell; a brother, Adam Bausch; four sisters, Mary Marquenski, Betty Nagel, Eva Craig; and Doris Bero; and 13 grandchildren. A visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village. A memorial mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday in Queen of the Rosary Catholic Church, 680 W. Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village.
