Rock ‘n’ roll groupies seem to fade into one big blur of poofy hair and skimpy clothes, but one with an interesting hobby has managed to stand out from the rest. Her name is Cynthia Plaster Caster and she is the subject of the new documentary, “Plaster Caster” by Chicago filmmaker Jessica Villines. The movie, which explores the famous groupie/artist’s penchant for making plaster castings of rock star appendages, features candid interviews with rockers — many of whom she has cast — including Noel Redding of the Jimi Hendrix experience, Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys and Jon Langford of the Mekons. “Plaster Caster” has its world premiere at 7 and 9 p.m. Thursday at the Landmark Century Center Cinema, 2828 N. Clark St., and your $10 ticket includes admission to a post-screening party at the Elbo Room, 2871 N. Lincoln Ave. For advance tickets, call 312-726-4TIX and for info, call 773-327-3456.
