I urge everybody to stop paying attention to Bill Clinton. I am a card-carrying Clinton hater and believe it is important to make people aware of the damage he has done.
It is more important, however, to stop letting him distract us from moving forward. Clinton loves nothing more than to be the center of attention. Being the clever child he is, he always has a ready excuse to justify his misdeeds. He is a consummate politician but never a leader.
In the words of Shakespeare, Clinton strutted across the American stage “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”
While he was president, the power and prestige of the office made him relevant. Out of office he only has the power to distract. He doesn’t deserve our attention and we don’t deserve the distraction.
