Winifred M. Pump, nee Mueller, 83, of Huntley, at rest February 15, 2001, beloved daughter of the late William and Louise, nee Boeckenhauer, Mueller; loving wife of John J. Pump; cherished mother of Richard Sr. (Marlene); proud grandmother of Richard Jr. Mrs. Pump’s family has farmed in Northern Illinois continuously since 1885, raising vegetables and/or sod. They were pioneers in the turf industry, not only in Illinois and the Midwest, but in the United States. After her parents deaths, she and her husband John became partners in Mueller Farms. In 1950 they moved the business to Hanover Park (Ontarioville), after O’Hare field condemned the farm and expanded to Huntley in 1961. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 17, at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church, 11008 N. Church St., Huntley. Interment in Huntley Cemetery. Visitation prior to services at the church on Saturday, from 2 to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church’s Stewardship Fund. The James A.
