As more of Gov. George Ryan’s misconduct is exposed and Sen. Peter Fitzgerald calls for Ryan to step aside (“Fitzgerald says Ryan shouldn’t seek 2nd term,” Metro, Feb. 13), it reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw recently: “Stop repeat offenders. Don’t re-elect them!”
