Esther Yurman. Esther was born on February 14, 1908, Valentine’s Day and lived to one day past her 93rd birthday, leaving us on February 15, 2001. Our mom and grandmother resided in Chicago and Wilmette, later moving to Citrus Heights, CA. Esther was the beloved wife of the late Samuel D. Yurman; loving mother of Alan, Bruce and Cary; devoted grandmother to Samantha, Erica and Jessie; cherished mother-in-law of Bruce’s wife Rosie; dear sister of Celia Goodman and the late Faye Hernreich and George Hernreich. Mom lived for her family and will be deeply loved and missed forever. Service Monday, 11 a.m. at The Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 N. Skokie Blvd. (1 block North of Old Orchard).
