Kudos to the Chicago Tribune on its baseball coverage.

What was with all the complaining from Sox fans in last Sunday’s paper because there was apparently little mention of their precious SoxFest? It’s a rip-off of the Cubs Convention anyway, which started years before.

I understand last year the AL Central finally had a representative in the playoffs which wasn’t the Cleveland Indians. That’s all fine and dandy, but the fact remains the White Sox have more recently thrown a World Series (1919) than actually won a World Series (1917).

So if you feel Chicago’s other baseball team doesn’t get sufficient coverage in a particular publication, don’t read it or buy it. Enough said.
