Tim O. Johnston, age 77, of Downers Grove, at peace Feb. 6th, U.S. Army Air Corps veteran WW II, lifelong “barbershopper” SPEBSQSA, had a great love for music, literature, hiking and the outdoors. He was a volunteer at the Downers Grove Lincoln Center. He is survived by five daughters, Ann Amick, Catherine Lyons-Labate, Sara Johnston, Ruth Johnston and Mary Ailie; and their mother Roberta; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; also survived by brother William; and nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim and sister Mary. “He has taken the Prairie Pathcheerio!” Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
