The skeleton of a would-be burglar was found lodged in the chimney of a gift shop in Natchez, Miss., solving the case of a man who disappeared in 1985.

The fully clothed remains of Calvin Wilson were found Jan. 19 by masons renovating the antebellum building.

Adams County Sheriff Tommy Ferrell said Wilson, 27 at the time, became trapped while apparently trying to enter the Riverboat Gift Shop through the chimney. Ferrell said it was likely Wilson fell, was injured and could not call for help.
