Mary E. Seger, 80, a homemaker whose focus was her grandchildren, died Friday, Feb. 16, in her Lombard home. Mrs. Seger had lived in Lombard since 1972 and formerly lived in South Dakota, New Jersey and Elmhurst. “She loved to travel, saw Italy, Ireland and Scotland,” said her son, John. “She also loved crossword puzzles.” Other survivors include four daughters, Margaret Kinst, Patricia Tomy, Joan Johnston and Mary Jane Seger; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with mass to be said at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church, 1501 S. Main St., Lombard.
