Anita “Nita” Slas, age 69, of Naples, FL, passed away peacefuly Saturday, February 17, 2001. Nita and Edward moved to this area in 1979 from Worth, IL. Survivors include her beloved husband Edward of 49 years; son Robert (Sandra) of Naples, daughters Robin Slas (Richard Coan) of Burr Ridge and Nancy Zima of Boca Raton, FL; grandchildren Bill, Steven, David, Taylor and Sarah Zima; sisters Jennie Cernick, Mildred White, brothers Frank Petrich and the late Michael Petrich and their families. Private services will be held in Naples. Family requests that donations may be made to Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.
