Dorothy Arlene Reiff, nee Schmalfuss, 66, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Estero, died Sunday at 7:44 p.m., Feb. 18, 2001, after a lengthy illness. A native of Zion, IL, she moved with her husband from Oak Forest, IL to Coral Gables, FL in August, 1986, where she was an Executive Coordinator with The Chicago Northern Trust Bank. She was transferred to the Bonita Springs branch where she worked until her retirement in July of 2000. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Naples, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents, William E. II and Estelle Schmalfuss; her husband, Donald E. Reiff; and three brothers, William E. Schmalfuss III, David W. Schmalfuss and Roger C. Schmalfuss. She is survived by two sons, Douglas G. Reiff of Chicago and Derrik V. (Diane) Reiff of New Port Richey, FL; two brothers, Robert L. (Belva) Schmalfuss of Chattahoochee, FL and James A. (Regina) Schmalfuss of Wilmington, NC; one sister, Carole E. Hayhurst of Canyon Country, CA; four grandchildren, Donny, Kevin, Daniel and Darah Reiff; and her Church Family, First Baptist of Naples, FL, Dr. Hayes Wicker, Pastor. Visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2001 at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at First Baptist Church, 1595 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL. Cremation will follow.
