Robert E. Davis, born March 12, 1935, passed away Feb. 21, 2001, at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights, beloved husband of Pamella Davis; cherished father of Stephanie (David) Douglas; proud and loving grandfather of Kyle Robert Douglas; son of Marguerite and the late L.J. Davis; son-in-law of Beatrice and Gilbert Meyer; brother of Barbara (Roland) Krug, Marge Davis, L.B. (Gen) Davis and Rosalie (Buzz) Bradley; brother-in-law of Deborah (Mark) Haerle and Kurt (Mary) Meyer; uncle of many nieces and nephews, including Kristine (Michael) Bertuccioli, Melissa (Jason) Hibner, Jennifer (Anthony) Durand, Diana and Linda Krug, Brian, Eric, Lindsey and Lisa Meyer, Shelley and Adam Walton. Memorial gathering Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, from 2 p.m. til 8 p.m. at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights. Funeral service and interment private.
