Georgia Lee Lawson, age 72, of Mt. Vernon, formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001. Survived by three sons, Steven (Donna) Suftko of NC, Phillip (Terri) Chakos of AZ, and Carl Suftko of IN, two daughters, Cynthia Suftko of PA and Sandy Rowe of Bonnie, IL; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; loyal companion to Barney; and sister, Trena Coklan of Lawrenceville, GA; preceded in death by parents, Harry and Lena Plarenos, nee Showalter; two husbands, Andrew Orfanos and Vernon “Skeet” Lawson.
