Antoni Zbigniew Sliz. On Feb. 19, 2001, the soul of Antoni Zbigniew Sliz passed from us to a place of heavenly peace. Antoni was born on May 19, 1950 in Lezajsk, Poland. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife, Margaret; loving mother, Helena; sisters, Barbara (Henryk) and Krystyna (Henry) of Canada; brothers, Wojciech (Maria) in Poland, Ryszard (Maria) and Jerzy (Anna) of Schaumburg; sister-in-law, Edwarda (Jan) Pawlikowski of Des Plaines; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Preceded in death by his beloved father, Ignacy; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Janina and Edward Niedospial. The loss of Antoni will be felt by many relatives, friends and associates scattered throughout North America and Europe. He was the owner of T.G.S. Machinery, Inc. Prayers will begin Saturday 9:15 a.m. at Geils Funeral Home, 260 W. Irving Park, Wood Dale, and continue to Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 254 N. Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, IL.
